Phil Wilson

is an active, 5x Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and storyteller.

He holds an MFA in Film/TV from Asbury University and an MA in Film/TV from San Diego State University.

His creative WORK is focused on supporting non-profits.

It has screened at film festivals in LA, San Diego, San Francisco, Phoenix, San Jose and Tacoma. It has also appeared on FS1, The CW, Comcast, and Hallmarkchannel.com. He has developed feature films, worked with Emmy-winning directors, and freelanced as a producer, director, DP and editor for well over ten years.

He has created compelling content for Arizona Broadway Theater, Rady Children’s Hospital, TheaterWorks, JDRF, the United Way, Children of the Nations, JDRF, Huntington University, Olympic College, The Benaroya Research Institute, Youth for Christ USA, and #1 NY Times Bestselling author, Debbie Macomber. He has also freelanced for agencies like Voda Studios, Translight Media, Milkman Media, and Traverse Agency.

Phil was the Digital Media Arts Program Director and Associate Professor of Film Production at Huntington University's 30,000 sq ft Center for Digital Media Arts in Arizona for nine years. During his tenure, the Center earned over 20 Official Selections to the Phoenix Film Festival (largest film fest in Arizona) over 40 Student Production Awards at the Rocky Mountain Emmys, and over 40 Student and Faculty Awards at the Broadcast Education Association’s Festival of Media Arts in Las Vegas.
